Mrs. Johnson
is challenging the students at Oroville Elementary to "bee"come
better readers by reading more. If
students reach the goal of reading 1,200 books in their Z.P.D. or grade level
with at least 80% on the AR quizzes during the month of February, she will
dress up in a bee costume for a whole day. Then, at an all-school assembly, she will perform a bee
dance, and break a bee pi–ata while blindfolded. There will be treats for all students. Students can watch the pi–ata being
constructed, bit by bit, in the office window. They can check their reading progress on the calendar across
from the office!
