District Office Home

Our dedicated board members share a common goal, to provide a positive learning environment for our children.  Because of this we want to celebrate these everyday heroes – the five elected school board members who serve our students and educational system.  With deep care and compassion our board members put in tons of hours focusing on the well-being of each student. Their time is spent attending extracurricular activities, professional development sessions, volunteering at school and community events.

During this month of recognition we ask you to show your appreciation for their service. Please show your gratitude in some way for their time, effort, and dedication to public education’s advancement.
Thank them for advocating on behalf of our collective interests and making the difficult decisions. Most importantly, thank them for being everyday heroes and making our students’ success their priority.

School closure information due to poor weather will be reported here with additional information being provided on our transportation page. We rarely delay or cancel school because of poor weather due to our trained bus drivers, the city and county crews clearing bus routes efficiently on questionable days, and most of us are accustomed to driving in wintery conditions.
